Well...

Sorry that I haven't posted here in a while. I don't have much to say. I am still doing great on Nutrisystem. My total weight loss right now is at 27 pounds. (I started on 11/09/05 if you didn't know.) It has been over a month since I first started and it seems like only a week! The days go by so fast. Also, I am not even close to being tired of the food. I am really craving a lot of it! Sometimes I feel tempted by "regular" foods, but I don't think I cheated once yet. I weigh myself again on Tuesday. I am both excited and worried. I am worried that I will be up in pounds or that I haven't lost any more weight.

Well, I am off now. I have a couple more things to do while I am online. I haven't viewed the NS BB all day. I mainly just read the posts instead of replying. I am a lurker. :P I'll update again on Tuesday! I hope all my LJ friends are doing well. :D

Awesome!

Amanda ~

The apple recipe looks great! I love anything with apples in it! If you like yogurt, I posted an apple/yogurt/cinnamon/almonds recipe on the NS recipe boards...although it's as easy as chopping and blending those ingedients for a fruit/dairy/fat serving! It's soooo satisfying, I think!

I just wanted to say that you are doing GREAT! I saw your profile when you were just starting NS (I started in late October), and I was really hoping it would go well for you! I have been an emotional eater for a long time as well...so I can identify with that! Even though I have lost weight on other diets, this is the first time I am thinking about it inthe process, realizing I don't need food to be my "friend" or anything else besides a source of nutrients! NS books and the website and all of the support really make a difference!

Congratulations, and keep up the fabulous work!

P.S. That adorable little five-year-old girl is still in there, and I know you are seeing more of her every day!

Keep it up

Hi Amanda,

I just checked out your journal from your link on the NS BB. I just want to say you are doing great! Keep it up, and you will have great results. This was a huge step for someone your age - you are a smart young woman.

Take care,
Ally

Keep it up

Amanda,

I think you are doing great. Just keep it up and you will do great. I come to the NS site every day and read the stories. You can see me under brigitteh if you like. I lost 16 pounds and today (actually yesterday) was my 55th birthday. I went out and bought myself a new pair of jeans (size 14). It felt great. You have to treat yourself to even in between sizes. My goal is size 12.

You are too young to feel this way and you are pretty. Write me if you like. My email address is brigitteh@aol.com.

Good luck.

Brigite
